Do you want to know more about your swanky camera? Want to take the plunge from fully automatic to something else? Or even if you want to get better pics with your iPhone (which can take fab pics by the way!), I can give you that push in the right direction.
I have been training other professional photographers on and off since 2005 and have also written Photography for Beginners course which I have delivered twice over the last two years. I can work with individuals or groups (usually up to 10), and we can cover all manner of subjects technical, artistic and procedural.
One area I can really help with is Instagram. If you want to take better pictures of your business, of your holiday, or want to get the best selfies, I can teach you how. Imagery is one of the most influential communicators, and you’ll be amazed at how learning a few little tricks will make a massive difference in a short space of time.
Any training can be designed just for you, or as a group, we can go through a specific subject that you choose, or I can take you right through everything I know.
What Will I Learn?
Getting to know your camera and how to get the best from it
The exposure triangle (Geek alert!)
Indoor Lighting and Flash set ups
Storytelling. Capturing the soul and the feels.
People; how to actually get their best side
Workflow and Post Processing
To book please get in touch and let me know which area you’re interested in and what you would like to get out of the training.

‘Abi’s photography course – what a hoot! Abi made the course very educational, entertaining and very much enjoyable. I am still learning, but it’s great to have a better understanding of how to make the most out of my camera along with knowing what makes a great shot. Fantastic course and highly recommended.’
‘Since attending one of Abi’s photography courses I now take my camera everywhere with me and I have begun to look at the world around me differently seeing shapes, colours and patterns that I would otherwise have missed. I have learnt a lot from her course and my knowledge is still growing.
