So this is me…
I started taking pictures right from when I was little. Back then we didn’t have phone cameras, or even digital cameras (I know, I’m old!), it was all a little more simple. I just liked being able to be arty farty, taking nice pictures, with a slight hint of science and mystery in how it all worked!
To be honest, not a lot’s changed! I love my job, it’s a little bit arty, it’s a lot of fun and it’s hugely satisfying. I get to be there at some cracking moments in people’s lives and it’s a real honour.
I’ve been shooting ever since I left uni in 2003 and have had my business for over 10 years. I was the Art Director at the UK’s biggest portrait company but after a while wanted to go it alone. Along the way, I’ve tried all sorts of photography, but my real passion is people; you lovely lot!
Besides being behind a camera, I like a good cuppa first thing in the morning, I enjoy a nice bar of chocolate a bit too often, and I adore a glass of Prosecco or two… Even more, if I’m drinking it while having a good natter with my friends. But most of all, I love my family, except during Peaky Blinders, then they can fend for themselves!
